At A Brighter Day Community Outreach, we are strong believers in the ability of our youth to succeed. Our activities are designed to help our youth grow and gives them an opportunity to become active in their community. Our Holiday program helps many families during Christmas and new for 2019, Easter!

Children have so much to offer to the world - we believe in the power that they hold, and know that they will mold future generations to come. At A Brighter Day Community Outreach, we are here to give them the support they need in order to shape them into leaders of the future, through community events that will help to keep them involved in their community. Events are for children 8-18 years old.
During Christmas, and new for 2019, Easter, A Brighter Day Community Outreach Christmas Kids Program helps to put Christmas gifts (Easter gifts) under the tree (in the basket) of needy families in the local area. This program is for children 0-17 years old.
Annual Vandergrift Youth Halloween Party
Putting the fright back in Vandergrift!
Halloween is an amazing time for our kids! Spooks and scares! Pumpkins and ghosts, haunts and witches! The Halloween party was such a great success last year that it was decided that it will be an annual event! Date, time and location will be announced each year in August.

Making a Brighter Cjristmas
Each year, A Brighter Day Community Outreach helps families in the Vandergrift area to provide Christmas for their children, ages 0-17 years old. There is no income requirements. It is understood that income can be lost as quickly as it can be gained. The only requirement is that the recipients live in the Vandergrift area code.
Our families are "adopted" by members of our generous community, that choose a child or two, or sometimes an entire family! We are honored to work with these people and are so blessed to have such amazing men and women living amongst us!
